Policy Forum with Prof. Sheila Jasanoff
How does science speak to policy?
The relationships between scientific research, expert advice and policy making are increasingly understood to be complex and uncertain. This is particularly so where issues, like climate change, are contested socially and politically.
This roundtable will explore how the worlds of science and policy communicate - how policy processes may affect the production of science, and how science can influence the production and implementation of policy.
Moderated by Associate Professor Peter Christoff. Panelists will include:
Professor Sheila Jasanoff
Professor Helen Sullivan
Professor David Karoly
