Seed Funding Applications Open
Call out to University of Melbourne researchers and collaborators
The energy sector is going through rapid changes. The way energy is produced, how it is stored and used is beginning to shift. This transformation presents new opportunities and challenges that require a deep understanding of technology, regulatory frameworks, environmental impacts and social equity issues. The Melbourne Energy Institute works with researchers from disciplines including Arts, Science, Law, Engineering, Medicine and Architecture, linking many different ways of thinking, to help meet this challenge.
This year, funding for interdisciplinary energy focused research is available in the range of 10k-$30k to kick-start a project that has the potential to scale into a major research program. A University of Melbourne researcher must be the lead applicant and we welcome applications in partnership with industry, government and NGOs.
Applications are due June 10 2016. Please find more information in the guidelines and video below.
