Robert Crawford

Robert is an expert in sustainable design and construction and was an inaugural University of Melbourne Future Generation Fellow (2008-2010), following his role as a Senior Researcher with Williams Boag Architects. He currently teaches into and coordinates the Master of Construction Management Program in the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning. His research focusses on improving the environmental performance of the built environment through the development and application of life cycle assessment, supply chain management, and prefabrication techniques. His expertise in modelling indirect resource flows (e.g. embodied energy) is recognised as being at the forefront of international research in the field of environmental assessment.
