Franca Tomaras

Franca Tomaras is MEI’s Events Coordinator. In this position she coordinates the MEInetwork program, including the Energy Systems Short Course and Seminar Series, and other public presentations and events for the Institute.

Franca joined the University of Melbourne in 2012 as an Executive Assistant to the Kernot Professor of Engineering.

She has had extensive experience as an Executive Assistant in the corporate sector. Prior to joining the University, she worked as an EA for the Global Practice Leader-Innovation at Rio Tinto, the Chief Scientist of Australia (Federal Government), and the Managing Director at Comalco Research and Technology.
