An exciting opportunity exists for an outstanding Administration and Events Assistant to help deliver the Melbourne Energy Institute’s high profile communications and engagement program, and provide support to the Institute team.

Position: Administration and Events Assistant for the Melbourne Energy Institute 
Work type: 0.6 FTE (3 days per week) Fixed-term position until December 2019
Location: Parkville

The Opportunity

The Melbourne Energy Institute (MEI) is looking for a highly motivated Administration and Events Assistant. This role is a part-time position (0.6 FTE).

The Administration and Events Assistant will work with the MEI team and support the engagement and administration activities of the Institute. Key responsibilities include assisting in the delivery of public workshops, lectures, seminars and short courses, as well as general administrative duties.

The successful candidate will be a proactive and efficient team player with demonstrated administrative skills and an eagerness to learn. You will have strong organisational and communication skills and work effectively with our stakeholders and the Institute team.
