Call out to University of Melbourne researchers

The energy sector is going through rapid changes. The way energy is produced, how it is stored and used is beginning to shift. Join Future Crunch and sector stalwarts including GE and AGL who will present on emerging technologies, business service models and global capital flows trends and the challenges or opportunities these shifts present and the research problems they create.

Melbourne Energy Institute Deputy Director Roger Dargaville will provide key details about the seed-funding round. Funding for energy focused research will be available in the range of $10k-30k to kick-start a project that has the potential to scale into a major research program. A University of Melbourne researcher must be the lead applicant, and we welcome applications in partnership with industry, government and NGOs. This event provides a unique opportunity to network with potential collaborators, ask questions, discuss ideas and hear insights from different parts of the sector, including research, industry and government.

Applications are due June 10 2016. Please find more information in the guidelines below.
