AEMO Q1 2020 Quarterly Energy Dynamics Report

The Melbourne Energy Institute is pleased to host the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) as they present the findings of their latest Quarterly Energy Dynamics report.

The latest report, which can be viewed here, covers market dynamics, trends and outcomes during Q1 2020 (1 January to 31 March).

At this seminar, Dr Jonathan Myrtle, Team Leader – Market Insights, AEMO, will discuss key findings of the Q1 2020 report including: the lowest wholesale electricity and gas prices since 2016; major power system separation events driving record system costs; and initial impacts of COVID-19 on operational demand and energy markets.
