AEMO Q3 2020 Quarterly Energy Dynamics webinar

The Melbourne Energy Institute is pleased to host the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) as they present the findings of their latest Quarterly Energy Dynamics report.

The latest report covers market dynamics, trends and outcomes during Q3 2020 (1 July to 30 September). The report has been published and can be accessed on the AEMO website.

At this seminar, Dr Myrtle will discuss key findings of the Q3 2020 report including:

• continued declines in wholesale electricity and gas prices;
• the impact of COVID-19 related lockdown on Victorian energy demand;
• market dynamics for storage – including analysis of the recently commissioned Hornsdale Power Reserve upgrade.
