Chancellery support for Universitas21 'Sustainable Futures' workshop

University of Melbourne Chancellery Research is offering support for up to four Early Career Researchers (ECRs) to attend a Universitas21 ECR Workshop at Shanghai Jiao Tong University on the theme of ‘Sustainable Futures’.

The workshop runs from 9-12 October 2018 and aims to address the necessity of innovative research and collaboration in paving a route towards a sustainable and resilient future. For further details about the workshop visit the website.

Chancellery will provide $2000 towards travel and accommodation costs, and any additional costs incurred will need to be funded by the applicant.

To apply:

Provide the following documents to by Monday 4th June 2018 for review by the Melbourne Sustainable Society Institute and Melbourne Energy Institute selection panel:

  • A current CV
  • A brief statement (up to 300 words) outlining how this workshop would benefit your career, and how your work aligns with the workshop themes (listed via the link above). This statement should be signed by yourself and your supervisor.

Applicants will be advised in the week commencing 11th June whether their application has been successful.
