Podcast: Energy Futures Seminar

Listen to the podcast from our Energy Futures seminar that explored exactly what a sustainable electricity network would look like.

MEI's recent Energy Futures seminar provided a forum for academia, community, industry, and government to discuss a critical energy question: what does a truly sustainable electricity network look like?

Held on 11th April 2018, and run in partnership with policy think-tank Grattan Institute, the seminar presented a range of views on the immediate and long-term impacts of changes in energy policy and the development of novel energy technology solutions required for a sustainable electricity network.

Speakers and panelists included David Blowers from Grattan Institute, Merryn York from Powerlink, Rob Amphlett Lewis from Ausgrid, and Andrew Stock from The University of Melbourne. The seminar was opened by John Bradley, Secretary of Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning, and moderated by Maxine McKew, Hon Enterprise Professor, Melbourne Graduate School of Education at The University of Melbourne.
