In the second webinar of our MEInetwork21 Energy Systems Seminar Series, John Theunissen, Manager DER Integration at AusNet Services, gave a presentation on the transmission and distribution network in Australia.
John discussed what it takes to keep essential energy flowing across the network, and explained how transmission and distribution networks are planned, designed, operated, maintained, augmented and replaced. John also provided insights into the current and future challenges that need to be managed as the ecosystem evolves from a centralised to a decentralised model.
