Marcus Dowling

Marcus Dowling is Executive Manager, Growth for Iberdrola Australia and a seasoned renewable energy professional with more than two decades of experience across project development and commercial growth. In his role, Marcus helps shape Iberdrola Australia’s growth agenda, including leading a multidisciplinary team identifying and progressing new opportunities, building partnerships with governments and communities, and engaging across industry to support investment-ready outcomes.

His work spans the advancement of major clean energy projects, with a current focus on onshore wind and the commercial, regulatory and stakeholder interfaces required to bring complex developments to market. Marcus also brings engineering and construction project management experience across major energy and infrastructure projects, translating strategy into safe, deliverable outcomes.

He holds a Master of Engineering (Sustainable Energy) from RMIT University and serves on the Melbourne University Energy Institute’s Energy Advisory Board, contributing industry perspective to support the Institute’s research, collaboration and impact across Australia’s energy transition.
