The Melbourne Energy Institute’s annual Symposium returns on Wednesday 28 October, bringing together researchers, students, industry representatives and energy experts to explore the research and innovation shaping Australia’s energy future.
As Australia navigates the opportunities and challenges of the energy transition, MEI Symposium 26 will foster discussion across disciplines and sectors, highlighting practical solutions to deliver a reliable, affordable and sustainable energy system.
The symposium will showcase cutting-edge energy research from across the University of Melbourne and feature distinguished local and international keynote speakers, leading academics and outstanding graduate students. Through a diverse program of presentations and discussion, attendees will discover the ideas, technologies and approaches driving progress towards a low-carbon future.

The MEI Poster Competition is a key feature of MEI Symposium 26, and is open to undergraduate, masters, and PhD students studying at the University of Melbourne.
