Podcast: AEMO Q3 2020 Quarterly Dynamics Seminar
On Wednesday 28 October, MEI was pleased to host Dr Jonathan Myrtle from the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) for our third Quarterly Energy Dynamics seminar of the year.
In this webinar, Dr Myrtle discussed key findings of the Q3 2020 report including:
- continued declines in wholesale electricity and gas prices;
- the impact of COVID-19 related lockdown on Victorian energy demand;
- market dynamics for storage – including analysis of the recently commissioned Hornsdale Power Reserve upgrade.
