The Melbourne Energy Institute reports to the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research), Professor Jim McCluskey, for research matters and the Faculty of Science Dean, Professor Aleks Owczarek, for operational matters. The Institute Staff and the Executive Committee operate the Institute, and the Advisory Board and Fellows provide strategic advice. A small team of professional staff support the Director in all Institute activities.
