During a webinar on 11 February, the Melbourne Energy Institute and Kerry Galloway, Manager – Market Insights at the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO), discussed insights from AEMO’s Q4 2025 Quarterly Energy Dynamics (QED) report.
The session outlined market dynamics, trends and outcomes from 1 October to 31 December 2025. The presentation compared results against previous quarters - covering the National Electricity Market, the Wholesale Electricity Market, domestic gas supply arrangements, and gas markets, in all key states.

Kerry Galloway is the Manager of Market Insights at the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO). She leads the team responsible for the Quarterly Energy Dynamics report, a key publication from AEMO.
With 20 years of experience in the energy industry, Kerry has worked in various areas of the wholesale and retail gas and electricity markets, including demand forecasting, network planning and connections, and market reform delivery.
She holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) and a Bachelor of Science (Applied Mathematics) from Monash University.
